Application Support Engineer – Level 1

About the role

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer (Level 1) to join dxFeed’s Technical Support team in Tbilisi, providing front‑line assistance for our market‑data products used by buy‑side and sell‑side firms worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to B2B clients using dxFeed market‑data products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in high‑load financial systems.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, incidents, and resolutions.
• Identify root causes of technical problems and propose long‑term solutions.
• Assist with rollout of new products and monitor system health and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, sales, legal, and finance teams.

Required profile

• General interest in finance and experience working with global clients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to respond quickly to tickets, calls, and chats.
• Stress‑resistant, able to work in a frequently changing environment.
• Console skills: Linux/Unix basics, bash, log inspection.
• Basic knowledge of Java, Python or C/C++ and networking concepts (IP, TCP).
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (SaaS, IaaS) and scalable solutions.
