Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join EPAM Georgia's Cloud practice. In this role you will work closely with developers, security, quality and operations teams to ensure high reliability, scalability and efficiency of our systems while exceeding customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, security, quality, and operations teams to implement SRE practices and ensure system reliability.
• Define and support required reliability, availability, and performance levels for services and applications.
• Troubleshoot, mitigate, and support fixing of infrastructure and application issues promptly.
• Implement monitoring systems for infrastructure and application reliability.
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), manage error budgets, conduct postmortems, reduce toil through automation, perform capacity planning and incident management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience implementing SRE practices (SLO/SLI, error budgets, postmortems, capacity planning, incident management).
• Knowledge of Python or another scripting/programming language.
