Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for experienced Senior DevOps/Platform Engineers to join the Platform Operations & Engineering team. The role focuses on modernising Point of Sale (POS) systems across edge locations in Georgia, using cloud‑native technologies and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute infrastructure enhancements on edge sites with Oracle Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s/K3s), Helm, Kustomize and Ansible.
• Deploy and maintain containerised applications in distributed edge environments.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) practices and ensure high availability of POS systems.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, applying GitOps workflows.
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning and deployment processes.
• Configure observability stack (FluentBit, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana) and create dashboards, alerts and incident‑response procedures.
• Develop platform tools, scripts and automation to support development teams.
• Collaborate with architects and agile teams to translate designs into working solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Linux administration (Oracle Linux preferred), Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and GitOps practices.
• Proficiency in observability tools such as FluentBit, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
• Solid knowledge of Ansible, Helm, Kustomize and IaC concepts.
• Advanced scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Understanding of edge computing, distributed infrastructure, high‑availability and disaster‑recovery principles.
• Experience in retail/POS environments is highly preferred.
• Good communication skills, English level B2 or higher.
