Senior ABAP/EWM Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior ABAP/EWM Engineer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within SAP Extended Warehouse Management. The role requires deep logistics knowledge and the ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient ABAP code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP enhancements and change requests for SAP EWM and core logistics modules.
• Implement technical solutions using ABAP Objects, BADIs, user exits, enhancement spots, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and SAP Fiori/UI5 where applicable.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to gather requirements and produce detailed technical specifications.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, debug existing programs, and optimize performance for high‑volume logistics transactions.
• Execute unit and integration testing and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP EWM, including RF Framework, task creation, inbound/outbound processing, and storage control.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
