SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect

About the role

EPAM is looking for an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect to lead cloud ERP transformation initiatives. You will define target architectures, drive Clean Core adoption, and ensure extensions remain upgrade‑safe while collaborating with business leaders and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define the target architecture for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Facilitate Fit‑to‑Standard workshops with stakeholders.
• Lead the Clean Core adoption strategy across multiple initiatives.
• Establish extensibility and integration principles and design side‑by‑side extensions on SAP BTP.
• Standardize business processes using SAP standard content and create a SAP BTP adoption roadmap.
• Set governance for upgrades and innovation adoption to protect the Clean Core.
• Support enterprise architecture and transformation teams with solution guidance.
• Lead SAP Activate implementation approach and delivery alignment.
• Define security and compliance architecture for the landscape.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align outcomes with business goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software Architect.
• Solid knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, and SAP Activate.
• Hands‑on expertise in Fit‑to‑Standard, SAP Best Practices, and SAP Central Business Configuration.
• Strong background in Enterprise Architecture, BTP Architecture, and Solution Architecture.
• Proven experience with Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, and Side‑by‑Side Extensions.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
