SAP FICO Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and goal‑oriented SAP FICO Engineering Manager to lead the creation, implementation, and optimization of SAP financial and controlling solutions. In this position you will ensure successful delivery of SAP projects, align technical strategies with business objectives, and collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP FICO specialists across international locations.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance reviews, promotions, and compensation.
• Drive strategic global initiatives to expand and enhance the SAP FICO function.
• Prepare project proposals and statements of work together with IT and business stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary client contact, overseeing delivery quality, team performance, and timelines.
• Maintain expert‑level knowledge of SAP FICO and enforce best practices across projects.
• Align SAP FICO strategies with organizational goals and objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on SAP experience, specifically with FICO modules.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role (e.g., Manager, Architect, Coordinator).
• Experience managing teams of five or more members.
• Participation in at least two full‑cycle SAP implementations or product launches.
• Strong expertise in Agile (Scrum) methodologies and software/application architecture.
• Proven ability to balance technical, business, and team‑management responsibilities.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
