Implementation Project Manager – Customer Implementation Services

About the role

Mastercard is looking for an Implementation Project Manager to join its Customer Implementation Services team in Tbilisi. You will lead cross‑functional teams that deliver electronic payment processing projects for financial institutions worldwide, ensuring smooth integration and high‑quality implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional implementation project team of technical and non‑technical experts from Mastercard and the customer.
• Act as the central point of contact for customers and Mastercard representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assess and document customer requirements and determine impacts on Mastercard’s core and non‑core processing systems.
• Define scope, create project plans, and drive execution following Mastercard’s global project coordination methodology.
• Manage multiple implementation projects in parallel, delivering both standard and complex solutions.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in information technology, preferably in payment processing or related domains.
• Strong understanding of electronic payment processes such as authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑changing, ambiguous environment and interact well with customers and management.
