Founding Engineer – Fintech

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Founding Engineer to build a high‑scale financial platform from the ground up. You will shape the core architecture of a neobank‑style solution that connects company incorporation with global financial operations, serving international founders across more than 50 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop core financial infrastructure, including KYC/KYB workflows, ledger systems, and transaction state machines.
• Design and implement integrations with regulated banking partners, card issuers, and payment rails such as ACH, wires, and FX.
• Create provider‑agnostic components that enable seamless switching between multiple financial partners.
• Build robust, secure APIs and data models capable of handling complex reconciliation and event processing.
• Manage the full feature lifecycle—from database schema design to production deployment and internal compliance tooling.
• Collaborate directly with the founders to translate product goals into scalable technical solutions and engineering standards.

Required profile

• 3‑8+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fintech or related regulated domains.
• Proven ability to design and ship complex, high‑throughput financial systems.
• Comfortable working in a remote‑friendly, fast‑moving startup environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, ownership‑mindset.
