Revenue Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Revenue Accountant to support our accounting department by ensuring accurate revenue tracking and timely financial reporting. This remote position works on New York time zone and serves top U.S. healthcare companies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑closing and pre‑posting revenue checks for multiple facilities and portfolios.
• Accurately post revenue entries across various accounting systems.
• Conduct revenue reconciliations, analyze P&L adjustments, and correct errors proactively.
• Coordinate revenue‑related communication with finance teams.
• Assist during facility audits, reconcile bad debts, and manage third‑party settlements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or currently pursuing one.
• Strong understanding of core accounting processes and GAAP compliance.
• Familiarity with basic accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines, learn new systems quickly, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
