Persian Team Lead

About the role

SME Careers, a fast‑growing AI data services company, is looking for a Persian (Farsi) Quality Assurance Lead to manage quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Persian AI training projects. This remote, hourly contractor position will ensure that all Persian‑language training data meets the highest standards of accuracy, cultural relevance, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Persian/Farsi items, identify quality issues, and provide written feedback.
• Communicate updates, guidelines, and workflow changes to trainers and QAs via Discord.
• Answer trainer/QA questions on wording, translation fidelity, cultural context, RTL formatting, and script conventions.
• Activate and follow up with inactive contributors, tracking availability and engagement.
• Create and maintain project documentation, style guides, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and lead onboarding/training calls to explain project expectations and quality rubrics.
• Ensure consistent application of language guidelines across the team.
• Identify recurring quality gaps and propose workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).
• Fluent in Persian/Farsi and English with excellent written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate grammar, tone, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to rubrics.
• Experience managing remote teams or quality workflows is a plus.
