Legal Counsel – Remote (Global)

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its worldwide portfolio of social‑discovery platforms. The role is fully remote and involves providing comprehensive legal guidance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and manage commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring consistency and timely execution.
• Oversee formation, maintenance and dissolution of legal entities globally, developing governance frameworks and ensuring compliance.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for cross‑functional teams, answering day‑to‑day legal queries.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, HR and Operations on strategic initiatives and risk management.
• Maintain and update internal legal resources, templates and training materials to promote self‑service.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of routine legal workflows to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract lifecycle management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Knowledge of consumer‑protection laws in the EU and the USA.
• Familiarity with marketing and advertising compliance regulations in the EU and the USA.
• Understanding of EU and US digital legislation, including AI governance.
• Russian language proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
