About the role

We are looking for a qualified lawyer to join the Retail and SME Business Support sub‑department of TBC Bank. The role will provide comprehensive legal assistance to the bank’s retail and small‑medium enterprise operations, ensuring compliance with banking, financial and regulatory requirements while supporting the development of new digital products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for retail and SME banking activities, including advice on banking products, services and business processes.
• Participate in the creation and development of new products, digital solutions and business initiatives, delivering legal assessments.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, legal opinions, official correspondence and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, analyse legislation and regulatory requirements, and evaluate the bank’s activities, products and processes for compliance.
• Interact with regulatory and other authorized bodies, preparing legal positions and explanations.
• Collaborate with various bank teams to identify legal risks, assess them and propose practical, business‑aligned solutions.

Required profile

• LL.M. or equivalent foreign university degree, or a bachelor’s degree from an internationally recognised university.
• More than 5 years of experience as a lawyer in the banking, finance or FinTech sector.
• Deep knowledge of private law, especially banking and financial legislation, with practical application experience.
• Understanding of labour law and, preferably, experience in litigation management.
• Ability to independently research complex legal issues, analyse them and formulate clear, well‑grounded legal positions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with attention to detail.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional foreign languages are a plus.
• Willingness to use AI tools and modern technologies, with an innovative mindset.
