Financial Specialist – Subcontractors Operations (Remote, Georgia)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Specialist to join EPAM’s Subcontractors Operations unit (EU/APAC team). The role supports Business Partnering Services by handling contractor‑related financial processes and contributes to month‑end cost accounting while working remotely from anywhere in Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contractor agreements, invoice verification, timesheets and rate cards.
• Conduct regular calls with contractors, EPAM departments and project staff.
• Enter and maintain data in internal EPAM systems, ensuring continuous control.
• Participate in cost accounting and month‑end closure activities, including analysis, reporting and commentary.
• Develop end‑to‑end subcontractor processes and provide consulting throughout the contractor lifecycle.
• Keep guides, manuals and internal instructions up to date.
• Support audits by supplying requested information promptly.

Required profile

• Higher degree in Economics or Finance.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and spoken English (Upper‑Intermediate or higher).
• Ability to handle large volumes of information, multitask and meet deadlines.
• Resilience under pressure and strong self‑control.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, especially in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
