Field Service Technician – Perimeter Security

About the role

Join AMAROK’s expanding Field Operations team as a Field Service Technician. You will travel across a 150‑250 mile radius, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on advanced perimeter security systems for commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs or system upgrades on site.
• Assist the Install Department with site planning, jurisdictional compliance, inspections, and commissioning after construction.
• Prioritize daily service calls, plan efficient routes, and ensure timely, high‑quality completion of work.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional service, training, and support.
• Support fellow technicians, share knowledge, and promote teamwork.
• Drive safely, adhere to all traffic laws, and manage inventory, service reports, and expense documentation.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel Monday‑Friday.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with troubleshooting and installing security or related systems.
• OSHA certification or strong familiarity with OSHA compliance preferred.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and operate power equipment.

Required skills

• Experience with access control systems and/or fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency operating aerial lifts, concrete saws, jack hammers, augers, and mixers.
• Strong preventive‑maintenance and system‑troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic math for measuring, calculating, and configuring system components.
