Brand Director

About the role

The Brand Director will own the end‑to‑end brand experience, shaping strategy, creative direction, content and community for GoMining’s products and sub‑brands. Working closely with a Consumer Research Manager, you will build a data‑driven brand platform that becomes the benchmark for all brand activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the brand platform – positioning, purpose, personality, promise and architecture across all GoMining offerings.
• Build brand strategy based on consumer research, brand health, lift and usage‑and‑attitude data.
• Define trust and credibility standards in a skeptical market and craft the brand response.
• Maintain visual and verbal identity, brand guidelines and tone of voice across markets and languages.
• Lead content strategy – decide what, why, for whom and how content compounds.
• Design community strategy that turns community into an owned brand asset.
• Set creative brief standards and ensure all branded outputs meet high quality.
• Lead 360° campaigns, brand activations, and major partnership collaborations.
• Manage creative agencies, external partners and brand budgets.
• Define brand KPIs with research and integrate them into the marketing OKR cycle.

Required profile

• 8+ years in brand strategy or brand marketing, including 3+ years at director level with team ownership.
• Proven experience building a brand platform from research, not just refreshing a logo.
• Strong consumer brand background in fintech, consumer tech or fast‑growing categories with trust challenges.
• Demonstrated creative judgement and ability to direct designers, writers and film teams.
• Experience owning content and community as integrated parts of a brand.
• Comfortable using research and measurement to drive decisions.
• Experience managing agencies and significant brand budgets.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication.
